demi May 15, 2010 at 10:29 pm: i disagree that the website nzsingles.co.nz is laking in style. well, it is purely natural without any extra artificial crabs , however it is the only website that provides services for free, other websites charge big amount for little things, how come you put up your judgement on that site as lack in style,you should be fair when you rank all sites & you should not put things as you wish,please review your decision about that site & be fair in judgement, otherwise you rather just remove it from your list that you may negativaly affect the site reputation.
i wish to hear from you soon , regarding this.

marcel May 17, 2010 at 10:12 pm: i mean those sites, they provide free membership as where members shouldn’t pay to get access to all the website services. in ordinary website , members have to pay to start chating or emailing other members, there are certain websites provide all those services without need to pay.

We offer video and audio uploads, emails,blogs,forums and heaps more..all free.. and we are really much like a Facebook site but with dating being our main thrust.
Pretty much all sites charge after you’ve joined for FREE but we have no charges…just like Google…all free…why?…because we can!!

The way our site is configured, we do have the option if we wish sometime
long into the future to get members to upgrade to get premium services but i
don’t know what they would be, but with developing technology anything may turn up.

We turned off our IM and chatroom as it would’ve had to have a charge but
otherwise she’s all free.
I guess it’s an experiment but theoretically once the words spreads we
should corner a larger share of the market and then we can charge
advertisers outrageous (sic) prices to advertise to our happy members.

I don’t think it’s misleading. I think http://www.LoveNotesDating.co.nz has a similar set up to http://www.NZSingles.co.nz. Both offer a basic membership for free and you have the option to upgrade to a paid membership to receive additional services.
